If you are travelling on your own it is very likely that you will first arrive in the capital – Andorra La Vella. Mountain Hostel Tarter is in the village of El Tarter, which is 20km from the centre of Andorra La Vella.
There are several options to reach the hostel
If you are coming from Barcelona Airport or Toulouse with ANDBUS (https://www.andorrabybus.com) we recommend you hire the door-to-door service. For a surcharge, the same bus will take you to El Tarter.
From Andorra La Vella you can take a taxi right to the hostel door. It costs around 25-30 €.
Also, there is a regular bus service. To get to El Tarter, you must take one of these 2 bus routes:
The price of Andorra La Vella – El Tarter is 3,80 € per person and per way.
Once you get to the El Tarter bus stop from Andorra La Vella, you have to walk about 100 meters in the same direction of the bus route.
Look for a large sign, at the foot of the road, indicating Dylan’s Restaurant and continue in the same direction. Once past the restaurant, the hostel is on the next corner on the right. The entrance is directly in front of the small church of Sant Pere del Tarter.
Although slightly uphill, this should take no longer than 5 and 10 minutes walking!
